Schooling
Descartes was enrolled into school by age 10. He first went to Jesuit school; in that school there was a math teacher who inspired Descartes to love math. When age 18 came around, Descartes went to his second school called the University of Poitiers to study law. He graduated in 1616. In two countries he served in the army and traveled widely. While Descartes was in the army, he studied mathematics and architecture and also met important scientists. Since Descartes was so talented at so much, he created an important science tool when he applied algebra to geometry. All together, Descartes was a smart and talented man.
